It’s advisable to start at least one year in advance to ensure we have enough time to prepare paperwork and exams without any unforeseen events and increase your scholarship opportunities.
At Awex Education, we conduct a personal interview to evaluate your English level, academic and sports level, and your motivation for this “experience.” We then send a scholarship proposal at no cost or obligation. If the proposal is accepted, we prepare the contract, which both parties must sign. Once signed, the process begins to find the best school for the student, and once completed, the school will send the acceptance letter for the embassy appointment for the visa. Awex Education will guide you before, during, and after the entire process.
It depends on the state you go to, but it’s common to start classes in mid-August or early September and finish in May.

The J1 visa is granted by the U.S. government to a limited number of students to study for an academic year. However, they cannot choose their destination, family, or school. The family in the U.S. chooses the student based on their interests and personality.
With the F1 visa, students can choose the school they wish to attend based on the activities the school offers or the state/area they prefer. Then they are assigned a host family or can live in the school’s residence.
