The goal of Awex Education is to help lacrosse players access educational institutions in the United States and Canada with a lacrosse and/or academic scholarship. For this reason, we look for the best schools for each athlete, as well as the maximum possible athletic and/or academic scholarship.

Here is an overview of the process to obtain a lacrosse scholarship at an American school. In the first part, the athlete must focus on achieving their highest athletic and academic performance:

Achieve the highest possible athletic level: The higher the athlete’s level, the greater the chances of obtaining a lacrosse scholarship. In addition, a wider range of options will be available to choose from. It is important to work on obtaining high-quality video footage from multiple games to ensure the best possible highlights.

Achieve the highest possible academic level: Focusing on academics is crucial to reach the highest academic level. This increases available options and may allow the athlete to obtain academic scholarships in addition to athletic ones, reducing overall costs. Early preparation for the TOEFL and SAT exams is essential.

The second part of the process is handled by Awex Education. It is very important to contact Awex Education well in advance and begin preparing early. This significantly increases the chances of obtaining an athletic scholarship in the United States and provides more options to choose from. We recommend starting 1 to 2 years before the intended start date in the United States or Canada.

Our process begins with a personalized, free analysis of the athlete and their chances of obtaining an athletic scholarship in the U.S., based on lacrosse skill level, academics, and the expectations of the athlete and their family. This evaluation is completely free and without any obligation. We meet with the athlete and family to explain realistic possibilities. Once the family decides to start the process, we handle the following steps:

• We study each athlete individually, including athletic and academic levels, and preferences regarding educational institutions. We search for the best options that fit their athletic, academic, and financial profile. We discuss the family’s goals to offer the most suitable options.

• We create a personalized follow-up plan for each athlete, which includes timelines, exam preparation (depending on the league), and short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

• We provide support for SAT and TOEFL registration.

• We provide guidance for creating a sports highlight video, including advice to produce a strong video, which is essential for recruitment. We handle the final video editing for the athlete.

• With the completed video, we create an academic and athletic profile to contact lacrosse coaches.

• We begin contacting schools that match the athlete’s and family’s profile and preferences. We work with the majority of schools across the United States and Canada.

• We negotiate with each coach or school to secure the maximum scholarship and best conditions.

• We present a report with multiple options, giving the family enough time to make a decision. The report includes school name, location, size, academic level, lacrosse level, cost without scholarship, scholarship amount, and annual cost after scholarship.

• We offer several options within budget, ensuring families have alternatives to choose from.

• We assist the athlete and family in choosing a school, offering guidance and advice while leaving the final decision to the family.

• We handle the signing of the final offer with the chosen school.

• We complete the eligibility process for the leagues in which the school competes (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA).
